Sudani Shaah

Sudani Shaah was born, raised, and is currently based in the city of Detroit, while also having roots in Ypsilanti, MI. She grew up traveling and living between the two cities throughout her childhood. Shaah attended Detroit School of Arts where she received her high school diploma. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree at College for Creative Studies studying in a Crafts: fibers/textiles major. Shaah mostly works within crafts hands-on mediums such as acrylics, metals, and fibers along with having some experiences within digital arts. Influences and subject matter in her work deal with her personal experiences of spirituality, black feminism, nature, and culture.
