James H. Dozier is an artist, collector, and arts advocate from Detroit, Michigan. He received his BFA in Photography from Wayne State University and has participated in and curated exhibitions throughout the Detroit and Metro Detroit area since 1993. Some of the galleries Dozier has exhibited at are: Dell Pryor Gallery, A City Studio, Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, and the College for Creative Studies Center Galleries.

Dozier is an avid appreciator of the arts and advocates for people to be actively involved in the local art community by attending exhibitions, talks, performances, and meetings with the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club.
