detroit contemporary seeks artists for their juried all-media exhibition: The 2023 Spring Salon.

A distinguished group of jurors will select one participant for a solo exhibition at detroit contemporary during its 2024 season and two participants for our artist in residency program. 

To be a particpant in the 2023 Spring Salon artists are asked to deliver and install 3 works of art of any size or dimension.  Every space in the gallery will be made available on a first come basis including walls, floors, and ceilings. Artwork to be installed by the artist or a designee in the gallery during the dates and times listed below.

Drop off/Install:*
April 3rd-5th, 2023 from 4pm-8pm.
*There is an advantage to bringing one's own installation tools and supplies.
